The Center's Guiding Principles
The Center for Corporate Culture is dedicated to helping CEO’s and their teams create a corporate culture focused on the following:
PEOPLE:
At the heart of every organization are its people. There can be no commitment to sustainability without a similar commitment to people. They are, literally, what makes the world go around. The Center believes successful organizations understand the importance of communication and trust. That is why The Center’s events are designed for CEOs as well as their teams.
ETHICS:
For far too long, too many have ignored the importance of ethical behavior in the workplace. Ethics is treating people the right way and dealing in a straightforward manner with all who cross the organization’s path. It is a conscious choice to make the right decision, regardless of its impact on the bottom line.
Wellness:
Many organizations are just now coming to grips with the real connection between performance and wellness. The Center believes there is much for all to learn in this area. Businesses must shift their train of thought from treatment to prevention and implement cutting-edge solutions to remedy one small part of America’s burgeoning health-care crisis.
Execution:
Nothing happens without execution. The best-laid plan can be nothing but that – a plan – unless and until there is intentional motion following it up. The Center understands the difficulties inherent in moving projects from infancy to completion. Our focus is on how to make it happen, not how to talk about making it happen. It is a subtle difference, but one that provides a competitive advantage.
LEADERSHIP:
Building the next generation of leaders is as important to The Center as it is to the business world. Our commitment is to make good leaders great and to make great leaders even better. We expect this to occur in our environment, which is designed for coaching, experimentation and learning from our experts and your peers.
