History

The Center for Corporate Culture became reality in 2007. It represents a new business standard and is designed to advocate an ongoing conversation about the importance of building a workplace culture engineered for maximum performance.

The seeds for The Center’s evolution were planted in 2003, when The Dollins Group produced an Ethical Leadership Conference in Lubbock. The event was a resounding success, as was a similar conference the next year. In 2006, a conference was produced for the City of Amarillo, and it, too, was hailed as a success.

The conferences have featured world-renown speakers Dr. Stephen R. Covey, Ken Blanchard, President George H. W. Bush and Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. The brilliant thinkers engaged audiences and helped lay the foundation for The Center, which will continue that tradition of excellence.

Building a sustainable, people-centered culture is an elusive proposition in today’s ever-changing business climate. Complicated issues such as generational work ethics, global competition and the speed of technology throughout the workforce confront organizations each day. Culture, though, is The Center’s middle name. Its focus is to help leaders get the most from their business in a number of areas, including people, ethics, wellness, execution and leadership, core components of any successful business.

The Center’s mission is to advocate an emerging 21st-century business model at a time when business leaders face a bold new marketplace where competition is fierce, consumers are educated and innovation is the chief currency. The Center will challenge CEOs and their teams while helping them focus on a sustainable culture that empowers people and enhances their bottom line. Our members will have access to world-class authorities and developmental tools that together will provide a competitive advantage.

A number of programs, forums and educational opportunities fight for attention in a crowded marketplace, but none offers the powerful edge provided by The Center. Team members hear the same message as their CEO at the same time. The Center will take members down an innovative path to sustainability. It is a platform for participants to focus their attention on the skills needed to build their own unique culture.
